I am using the app on an Iphone I tested the simple measuring ruler and it doesn't work at all. The first thing is that it's very difficult to use. You have to center the camera to where you want to measure and manually move the camera around to make the measurements. From a hand coordination perspective, this is not the most accurate way to measure, since if you have slightly shaky hands, the measurement will be drastically off.
